The Wright way youth development basketball program “Chattanooga Grizzliez”  to provide and promote a safe basketball program that features tournaments, clinics, leagues, and a solid mentoring program with behavior prevention for grades K-12. To this end, C.G.B.P. encourages good sportsmanship, basketball fundamentals, and social development skills through community service. The journey began in the gym of the Westside Community Center in 2007 where we started with one team of fully energetic children from the community wanting to play basketball. From that initial team, the program has produced several great basketball players many of whom now play on high school teams and some college teams around the Chattanooga Area. Along the way, one team became an organization made up of 15 teams from the neighborhoods in and around Chattanooga. We have students from virturaly every school in Hamilton County participating in our program.

We have shoes on the court programming year round. 
Winter: December -February
Spring: March -May
Summer: May -July
Fall: August -October  

The Chattanooga Grizzlies has developed relationships with over  250 student-athletes via the Wright Way Youth Foundation. Currently, 65% of Chattanooga Grizzliez student athletes have made their school’s Honor Roll and or star roll and 95% of all students-athletes who started for their school by the time they were in the 6th grade, made Varsity as a freshman in high school. Currently, 100% of Chattanooga Grizzliez student athletes that maintained their enrollment while in high school graduated from high school. • Colleges Chattanooga Grizzleiz student athletes attended include: Chattanooga State , Cleveland state, Walter state.
